Sabine Vermeulen

Noteworthy:

 

As art-teacher:

 - Writes theatre, creates and develops costumes and decoration. Recieves advice from Ineke Nijssens and Mireille Cottonjé.

- Wins together with the pupils,in 1994, the first prize in a contest organized by the Belgian railroad company for the creation of bilboards against racisme.  Receives an interview on the local television station.

- 2002 - Displays 20 watercolor-paintings of portraits of children of all around the word during a visit of Queen Paola at the school.  Hands over a watercolor "Puberty - Fire-dragon" to the queen.

- 2004 - Works on the publication "Miniatuur Avontuur" and illustrates the inside of the bookcover together with her pupils. Panamarenko is asked to take care of inside illustrations. Exhibition is done in M.I.A.T.

- 2005 - One of here pupils  is incorporated in the publication "Blijf nog even" with a poem he wrote under her assistance,  all works selected by Stichting A.G.O., with Freek De Jonge in the jury.

 

 

Others:

- Writes two theatre plays for the city of Ronse, the director and the actors are teacher and pupils of the academy of Ronse, one in 2010 and one in 2011.

- Writes in 2014 a play for the theatre company "Planchee Carree" in collaboration with the director.
